[Okay,_Motherfucker. You_Got_Me,_Already.]
Wow.
I mean, SHIT SANDWHICH folks. New record is coming out in first quarter of next year.
I can find a way to hate on that.
Stupid live DVD, featuring the wannabe-dangerous-but-not-really clap-along live show regurgitation we all saw 4-40 times, on hi-def video formats.
Plenty for me to scorn.
And the surreptitous release of "Closure", on DVD, via the torrent networks. In two different formats no less, so I've even got to collect the different versions of the unofficially/officially illegally/legally leaked NIN releases.
A serious pain in the ass. (Except for the fact that Trent's retardation was totally revealed with that DUMB ASS "March of the Pigs" original video concept -- one that was SO SHIT-TASTIC he felt the need to can it... and then re-fucking-use it for "Into the Void". I mean, what gives, piggy bitch, is the idea crappy, or is it good? Or do you just have a thing for shitty looking red room sets?)
BUT NOW THAT MOTHERFUCKER HAS GONE AND DONE IT.
He fucking put out the "broken" movie.
Goddammit, Trent. Why are you doing this to me?
I think I owe you a great big apology.
You may be fat-necked and a whiney old man, but DAMN if you didn't just make my 2007, Michael Trant Ratznor.
Seriously.
You go, girl.

See? Trent really does love you after all.
(P.S. It's a "sandwich". It's okay, we all make mistakes!)

Well, as happy as I am that Gabriel feels Trent love once more, meh to the "Broken" movie. I'm so averse to screen violence.
Posted by: maise | Dec 31, 2006 2:34:47 PM
Are you kidding Maise?? "Rock You Like a Hurricane" is at its best on DVD whilst intercut with videotaped fake snuff footage!!!
Posted by: Gabriel | Dec 31, 2006 4:38:56 PM
Joking aside, I couldn't be more stoked. I'm watching the "broken" movie on my TV right now... this was always one of my favorite pieces of NIN oddities, and I lost my VHS years ago (it was an old unlabelled cassette... oh the memories).
I'm so excited!!!!! Yay! Rewind the "fist fuck" part while you stroke yourself, you crazy mask-wearing guy you! Stroke on!!!!

I am, quite literally I think, dying of laughter over that last bit of comment Gabriel.
I have a stitch in my side now.

Aw, Santa Trent had something in his sack for you after all. Nice. I’ve probably downloaded three versions of Broken and I’ve never been able to watch it. I think I’m missing the slasher movie gene. I know that it’s fake, but it just creeps me out.
Posted by: Chrise | Jan 1, 2007 7:57:39 AM
Don't worry. I saw a small bit of it on youtube once, before it was removed and I couldn't watch it either....
And try as I might, I still cannot watch the "Happiness in Slavery" video without flinching, looking away, or pulling up another window so I don't have to see.

See, this is why Trent is a super-genius...because I would presume that the allure of "Broken" (it holds no allure for me, personally, which I realized after reading a very thorough description of the proceedings) is that it was never officially released and, if not exactly hard to come by, at least a bootleg. An Official Special Edition DVD wouldn't really be all *that* extraordinary content-wise, unless it had some kick-ass extras, considering we live in the age of movies like "Hostel." But now, "Broken" is on DVD...BUT you still have to download it, kind of unofficially. So there's still the taste of the forbidden in your collection of NIN videos enveloped in a fake snuff film.
Meanwhile, my "Closure" hookup came through *just in time* for New Year's Day. OMG, it was so fabulous...Trent abusing his bandmates and grabbing his ass in those teeny tiny little leather shorts. And wait a minute...who's that yellow dog romping for a second or two...that's not...Maise, is it???

Well after a fan-fucking-tastic New Year’s Weekend with my best bud, I was psyched to see that there was another present just waiting to be downloaded when I got home! I’m currently sweet talking and stroking my computer, coaxing it to download this ASAP. I’ve already seen the “Broken” movie before courtesy of a nice Spiral member who was also kind enough to send me a copy of the full length video for “Sin”. I really didn’t think it was all that bad. Matter of fact there were a few parts that actually had me laughing. I’ve got a morbid sense of humor sometimes but it could also be because I knew it was fake. Even so, this was well within my medium to medium-well tolerance for blood and gore.
I don’t know what has compelled Trent to be so generous with all the goodies being distributed (and that are in the works to be distributed) but let’s just hope the streak continues. I don’t know what else he could really have up his sleeve at this point since he’s releasing two of the most asked about items. Maybe it was the incessant nagging, nagging, nagging all these years on numerous message boards, in Spiral chats, and from fans on the road for this stuff that finally got to him.
As for Gabriel and his incessant bitchery...it’s nice to see him finally saying something positive about Trent even if it is in his kind of, not really, but at least I made an effort type way. With regards to the red room rehash, I think the neat and clean My_Teenage_Rebellion_Polly_Pocket: Into_the_Void edition looked much better than what was obviously the left over set pieces from that movie Fantastic Voyage. Just my humble opinion though.

One of you bitches needs to make me a copy of this shit, and by "this shit" I mean Closure, NOT the Broken movie. Once was enough on that shit sandwich. Seriously, people, I know I've been a bit MIA lately, but I have no CD burner, and I want to play, too!!
And Gabriel? Where the fuck are you? You're not still in the South Pacific, are you bitch? E-mail me! I'm in HELL-A.

Dierdre, a friend and I can get you hooked up...no problem!
Email me, and we can talk logistics...

I just heard an audio interview with Trent.
Q: So what are you doing right now?
A: I'm sitting in the studio in my underwear. I like it this way.
That little bit of info made me wonder if Trent likes it this way. I mean, if he likes just sitting back and watching WTC go about its ways?
Posted by: Hannah | Jan 2, 2007 10:49:15 AM
I like reading WTC in my underwear.
And then I put on a creepy mask and stroke it.
Posted by: Gabriel | Jan 2, 2007 11:50:39 AM
This kind of mask? Because that would really creep me out.
Posted by: maise | Jan 2, 2007 12:51:57 PM
No, silly. I wear a buttplug when watchng BRAZIL.
Posted by: Gabriel | Jan 2, 2007 3:02:53 PM
Does one really wear a buttplug? I mean is it really considered wearing if it has to be inserted? I’ll leave you all to ponder that.
Posted by: Iris | Jan 2, 2007 5:07:52 PM
It is if said plug has a donkey tail attached to one end.
Posted by: Gabriel | Jan 2, 2007 5:10:54 PM
Gabriel...are you saying you like to be ridden like a donkey?
Posted by: KittyKins | Jan 2, 2007 7:09:58 PM
No, Gabriel likes to be fucked like a donkey. His chiropractor has strictly forbidden him from being used as a form of transport or as a pack animal.

Funny thing is that everytime someone uploads a cleaner version of Broken I download it. So this is about the third version that I won't watch.
I have one of the VHS rips of Closure on my iPod. Yes, that yellow dog would have to be Maise, alive and playing sock with the master. I love it - David Bowie, Frank Zappa, the abuse of the exit sign, and now Stonehenge and the making of Closer. The days of downloading were worth the extra material.

And the Most Depressing Quote Of 2007 Award can already go out, ladies and gentlemen, to Pastor Michael Trent Reznor:
{re the new album]: "This album is a bit more electronic and I'd say rhyme plays a bigger element in it than in the past..."
Well Trent's "rhymes" have always been so sweet (see "Down In It") that I'm sure this album will just be great.
*sigh* Thanks a lot, Saul Fucking Williams.

^ Supposedly that was a typo, and the person who transcribed it actually meant "rhythm". I don't know for sure, as I don't get Kerrang and thus can't verify it.
Posted by: Sarcelle | Jan 3, 2007 11:26:42 AM
yeah, whatever -- like we believe THAT.
I think Mikey T. is just pissed off that everybody realized how fucking LAME is goddamned RAP album is gonna be.
FUCK YOU MIKE, and FUCK YOU SAUL!
